DSL is a very versatile 50MB mini desktop oriented Linux distribution.
DSL is based on a compressed image that uses the Knoppix bootable CD as a base.
The disk image can be extracted from the iso image using 'extract_compressed_fs' from the cloop tools.
Since it is uncompressed it does take more space (~130MB).
This image is on an ext3 filesystems and use 200MB of disk space when uncompressed (there is about 65MB of free space).
